The Cedar House Sport Hotel explores our need to connect to nature, emphasizing in its design a harmony that is sympathetic to the human body, mind and spirit. Strength, Structure, Environmental Awareness, and Respect to the natural materials used are themes found throughout the design. The Cedar House Sport Hotel was inspired by its setting high in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, nestled in the Martis Valley, just minutes from Historic Downtown Truckee and Lake Tahoe.
The Cedar House Sport Hotel fuses innovative architecture with the best of contemporary design, creating 42 rooms and suites in a hip European style.
The lobby features a full bar in an atmosphere that stays true to its environmental themes - guests will be intrigued with the green roof and the unique usage of green building materials.
These rooms are an eclectic mix of contemporary design, functionality and an organic edge geared for relaxed comfort. Guest rooms have an open modern feel with a Merlot and Camel color scheme and furniture like designer Normand Couture "Cameleon" leather platform beds. "KISS" convertible couches, exposed floor to ceiling space saving Pogo closets and bent plywood furniture.
All rooms feature a European bedding system with luxurious linens and individual down comforters imported from Germany, pillow top mattresses, combed Egyptian cotton robes and towels, spa bath amenities, in room safes, refrigerators, fresh ground coffee, Flat screen LCD televisions, Cable TV and Pay per view movies complimentary wireless and high speed internet with in room keyboards.
Luxury Suite
This suite has a separate bedroom with a pillow top king bed, desk, LCD flat screen television. Galley Kitchen with a refrigerator, sink, microwave and eating bar with stainless steel bar stools Living room with "Cameleon" couch and chairs, flat screen LCD Television and a private deck Large luxurious bathroom with a spacious walk in shower, separate vanity area featuring Hansgrohe fixtures and a porcelain vessel sink on "Richlite" counters.
King Suite
Our junior suite featuring a king size bed, complete sitting area with sofa, chair and coffee table, large working desk and well appointed bathroom with a spacious walk in shower. Maximum Occupancy is 2 adults.
Your mountain stay would not be complete if your favorite four legged friend wasn't there to share it with you! We will welcome Fido with a special treat, as well as dog beds and bowls. Be sure to ask our staff about dog friendly venues throughout the Tahoe area.
Some Restrictions apply: Dogs are limited to ground floor rooms only. Only one dog per room - must be over 1 year old. Certain breeds are not allowed, please call for details. Fee applies.
