About Sun Valley Lodge - Deluxe Hotel Room
The Sun Valley Lodge, built in 1936, was constructed from the ground up with every amenity a skier could possibly imagine. The 148-room-hotel is a complete luxury hotel with an adjoining glass enclosed outdoor pool and Sun Valley's famous outdoor ice rink and Terrace.
Inside guests enjoy Gretchen's Restaurant, the elegant Lodge Dining Room, the Duchin Lounge named for Marjorie Oelrichs Duchin, Beauty Salon, Spa and Exercise Room and for kids of all ages a bowling alley (six lanes) and game room. A Gift Shop and concierge are located in the Lobby.
The Sun Valley Lodge offers two different Lodge Deluxe rooms. The first Lodge Deluxe option features one king bed. There are 28 rooms of this type. The second option for a Lodge Deluxe room is one with two beds, and there are seven rooms of this type.
In either option of the Lodge Deluxe type rooms, one can enjoys a marble bath, solid oak French furnishings and a flat screen plasma television. These rooms include wired Ethernet and WiFi for high-speed internet access and also feature security safes, DVD players, pay-per-view movies, refrigerators, plush pool robes and daily delivery of USA Today.
