About Sun Valley Lodge - Balcony Room (Hotel Room)
The Sun Valley Lodge, built in 1936, was constructed from the ground up with every amenity a skier could possibly imagine. The 148 room hotel is a complete luxury hotel with an adjoining glass enclosed outdoor pool and Sun Valley's famous outdoor ice rink and Terrace.
Insides guests enjoy Gretchen's Restaurant, the elegant Lodge Dining Room, the Duchin Lounge named for Marjorie Oelrichs Duchin, Beauty Salon, Spa and Exercise Room and for kids of all ages a bowling alley (six lanes) and game room. A Gift Shop and concierge are located in the Lobby.
There are seven Lodge Balcony rooms that feature either a king bed or two queen beds in a medium size room with French doors leading to a balcony with wonderful Sun Valley views. Each balcony room offers a marble bath, solid oak French furnishings and a flat screen plasma television.
These rooms include wired Ethernet and WiFi for high-speed internet access and also feature security safes, DVD players, pay-per-view movies, refrigerators, plush pool robes and daily delivery of USA Today.
