NAME Resort

Killington Resort, “The Beast of the East,” has received continued praise and numerous accolades from publications such as Snow East magazine for its trail grooming, terrain parks and dedication to increased snowmaking. The resort stretches across more than 750 skiable acres and six mountain areas, all serviced by 22 lifts, including two express gondolas and seven high-speed chairs. Killington’s expanse of over 140 trails makes it the largest resort in the East and provides opportunities for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities.

The Beast’s four nationally recognized terrain parks offer rails, ramps, jibs, tabletops, and an 18-foot Superpipe, and are host to a number of winter events. Other wintertime activities at Killington include cross-country skiing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowshoeing, and dog sledding. During the summer the resort is transformed into a mecca for mountain bikers and hiking enthusiasts. The Pico Mountain Adventure Center offers Alpine Slides, mini golf and climbing walls.

Killington is home to a number of concerts and events year-round. Snoe.Down, an all-ages music and sports festival, returns in March. Gourmets can sample the region’s best flavors at the Killington Wine Festival in July, and in October the Killington Brewfest will showcase the Northeast’s finest craft beers.
