NAME Resort

The Crested Butte Mountain Resort is one of those well rounded resorts. The Terrain serves all skill levels of skiers and snowboarders. The beginning slopes will help you learn how to ski or perfect those turns and the double-black diamond runs will test anyone’s skill and push them to the limit.

A top-notch mountain resort such as Crested Butte would be expected to be crowded and full of skiers; however, because it's surrounded by a small vintage town, visitors are limited. This provides an opportunity to ski a world-renowned resort without the long lines and crowded runs.

SKI magazine called Crested Butte Mountain Resort as one of the top 20 ski towns. With 16 lifts and 121 trails, you can spend days enjoying the trails. There are also three different terrain parks. The Canaan Terrain Park has many jumps and combinations of rails and features for intermediate riders. The Keystone Rail Park has many types of rails for beginners and experts. Lastly, there is a Kid’s Park that contains smaller hits, tabletops, and a mini halfpipe for the children.

People are always looking for the best powder and snow conditions to have the best skinning experience. Crested Butte has on average 300 inches per year which provides multiple days with fresh powder.
