Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is one of the most challenging ski resorts in the United States, featuring multiple bowls, rock-strewn chutes, and plunging trails. It boasts a liberal out-of-bounds policy, which makes it a favorite of many pro skiers and snowboarders. Sometimes the orange warning signs are all that stand between you and a potentially bone-jarring drop off a cliff.
The ski area is located on two mountains and is known for its challenging terrain. It offers 50% expert, 40% intermediate, and 10% beginner runs. Apres Vous Mountain has most of the intermediate terrain, while Rendezvous Mountain is reserved for the experts. This is where you’ll find the advanced terrain that includes bowls, chutes, and the greatest continuous inbound rise in the US.
Jackson Hole has hosted the World Cup ski races three times, in 1967, 1970, and 1975. It offers a great ski and snowboard experience for more advanced skiers. The lifts and trams quickly carry guests to to the dramatic and spectacular peaks.Jackson Hole Mountain Resort features:
