Featuring the largest vertical rise in Utah, more than 3,200 feet, with 11 lifts servicing 89 trails, Snowbird Ski Resort offers a challenging and thrilling brand of skiing that will entertain visitors of all abilities. The resort, just six miles up Little Cottonwood Canyon, hosts a variety of terrain, from bowls, chutes, mogul runs, gentle rolling trails, and an exciting terrain park.

Skiers and snowboarders of every skill level will find trails that are just their speed. Intermediate riders can warm up on Chip’s Run or take Lupine Loop over to Mineral Basin on the backside of the resort and practice your carving on the tranquil mountainside. Advanced skiers and riders will find a wealth of black diamond and double-black diamond runs to push their abilities to the very edge.

Once you’ve explored all the trails and had your fill of crisp mountain powder, you can head over to the tram to find the Tram Club. This wonderful après ski hangout is a great place to warm up and grab a beer and a bite to eat.

Snowbird is located just 29 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport, so travel to and from the canyon is simple and hassle free. There’s lodging near the resort, or you can stay in the Salt Lake Valley and be just a short drive or bus ride from a number of resorts. You can ski at a new resort every day of the week.
