Known among the locals for offering a truly genuine and rewarding ski experience, Waterville Valley Resort is a 500 acre expanse of glades, steeps and trails tucked into the picturesque White Mountains of New Hampshire. On the south face, Valley Run is a wide, gentle slope that has been rated as the best learning trail in New England. The north side offers a variety of intermediate to advanced runs. Waterville Valley Resort also offers three terrain parks that are serviced by snowmaking and are groomed nightly to ensure the best conditions possible. Waterville Valley also has a reputation as the place to learn to ski and board. Private and group lessons are offered daily to help riders fine-tune their turns or just master the basics. Kids’ Venture Kamps are also a fun and exciting way to introduce young children to the sport.
The Town Square village area, just a short trolley ride away, offers a number of excellent après ski options that include everything from three-course fine dining to relaxed cafés and burger joints. The village is also home to a full-service Nordic Center, which provides indoor ice skating, sleigh rides and a number of alpine sports outfitters.
