The pool area is usually open from Memorial Day through the end of September and has grand views of Mammoth Rock and Mammoth Crest. There is a paved bike path bordering the back of the property which takes you along Mammoth Creek into the heart of Mammoth about 1.5 miles away. The Sierra Star Golf Course is half mile from the property.
